facebook - cause an IE8 browser running in compatibility mode to run without it! -

this quite frustrating, saw many questions around topic, strangely plenty non seem address issue.

i have facebook application works great in ie8. thing is, runs within iframe, means facebook causes browser render in ie compatibility mode, while application wants run simple ie8.

the meta tag http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" doesn't seem have influence.

what can do?

the problem iframe inherits parents' compatibility mode no matter in html of iframe. so, reply is, thing can create sure html , styles work fine in ie7 in case.
